Ed’s optimistic spirit is embodied in his art…. scenes in the Hudson Valley – boats, bridges ….and his spirited vibrant colors portray hope for the new year.
Ed Vermehren lives in the artist community of Beacon NY and is a lifelong native of Duchess County. Most of his work in recent years has been with paint, ink and pastels. Ed is the director of Beacon Figure Drawing at Spire Studios. This current show will be featuring Ed’s collection of plein-air paintings and drawings made at the Beacon waterfront entitled Clear Sailing In to The New Year.
